Walkthrough

NOTE: To complete this mini, you will need to find nine keycards, then combine them into one master keycard which you will return to someone who lost his. It might be a good idea to do the initial steps of the Tune Piano and Unclog Toilet minis before doing this mini, since you can complete both of them at the same time when you reach the end of this mini.

From Takodana bays, go 4e, 4n, enter, nw, 3n, nw. You'll be at the stairwell in the guest area of Maz Kanata's castle. There is a chance that you will see Kleer Weems here. If you do, then kill him and take his sarcoline keycard. If he is not here then keep an eye out for him and kill him once you see him. He patrols the west end of the guest area.

Now go 2e and you might see a droid named DIMWIT-7. It wanders the corridors, so if it's not here, have a look around for it. You can get a keycard from it if you kill it.

But be careful, there's a high likelihood that it will have a critical malfunction and explode, soft-killing you if you're in the vicinity. If you see this text, then quickly move into a different room and wait for 10 seconds:

DIMWIT-7's eyes turn red and smoke billows out of his abdominal shell.
DIMWIT-7 drones: Critical malfunction!  Critical malfunction!

Once the droid is dead, pick up its turquoise keycard. The rest of the keycards are found inside various guest rooms, so let's start collecting them...

Go 3w, u, then <swipe turquoise keycard in reader> and press the button. A door to the west will open. Go west and you'll find yourself in a simple guest room (2). You'll find the periwinkle keycard when you search the drawer here, get the keycard.

Now press the button to open the door, and go e, d. Then <swipe periwinkle keycard in reader>, press the button and go nw. You're now in a spacious guest room (7), go east to enter a small bathroom. In here, you'll find the eburnean keycard floating in the toilet. Yuck! But you'll have to stomach it and get the keycard (twice).

Then go w, press button, se, e, up, 3e, s, and <swipe eburnean keycard in reader>, press button and go e. You're now in an unpretentious guest room (5). Here you can see an object if you examine the frayed ends of the duvet on the bed. <get object> to reveal it and then get the chartreuse keycard.

Press button, go w, and then n, <swipe chartreuse keycard in reader> and go ne. This is the well-appointed guest room (4). The zaffre keycard is hidden on the high surface on top of the vanity. Search the surface to reveal the card and then get keycard.

Press button, go sw, and then go 4w, <swipe zaffre keycard in reader>, press button and go nw. You're now in the palatial guest room (3). Go east to enter the bathroom. Search the soaps on the shelf to reveal the vermilion keycard, and then get keycard to pick it up.

Go w, then press button and go se, e, down, e. Then <swipe vermilion keycard in reader>, press button and go n to enter the cheery guest room (8). There's a gaudy red leather sofa here. Search the sofa three times to uncover the coral keycard, then get the keycard.

Press button, go s, then 2e, up, 2s, and <swipe coral keycard in reader>, press button and go w. You're now in the courtyard-facing guest room (6). Here you'll have to commit vandalism to discover the amaranthine keycard, which is hidden behind the mirror. Break the mirror and then get the keycard.

Press button, e, 2n, down.

NOTE: You can take a detour to the capacious guest room (9) if you want to finish the other two minis now. If so, <swipe amaranthine keycard in reader>, press button, and go ne. Then follow the instructions in the walkthroughs for the other minis.

Go 3w, down to the castle dungeon, and then se, w to enter the maintenance room. Here you will meet Hakru, the building engineer who can help you make a master keycard. Give him all the keycards.

Hekru says: Thank you!  That's all I need.
Hekru says: Let me get your master keycard ready.
Hekru removes a small device from a drawer and inserts the keycards.
After a moment, one solid keycard of a golden colour emerges.
Hekru gives the keycard to you.
Hekru says: Don't forget to initial your work orders.
Hekru turns away.

Now go e, nw, up, se to enter the bar area. The person who has lost his master keycard is Drix Gil, which can be found near the firepit to the southeast. Go ne, se, 3s, firepit to find him.

Drix Gil says: Hey!  Is that a master keycard?
Drix Gil says: I think I lost mine somewhere...
Drix Gil says: Could I have that keycard, please?

If you've completed everything you need to do, then simply <give keycard to drix> to complete this mini...

Drix Gil says: You really saved my butt.  This keycard is the castle's
 master keycard.
Drix Gil says: Here's a little reward for finding it and returning it.
Drix Gil gives you 2000 credits.

Now that you've done this mini, you can return to Hekru at any time and he'll sell you another master keycard for 2,500 credits without needing to gather up the other keycards first.
