Death Star - Assemble Orb (iy)

Hints

A note carried by Ars in the throne room on the Death Star is currently the closest thing to a hint for his mini we know. Please submit information you have that may lead to more insight in this thing!

To my trusted advisor and friend Ars,

   I still do not trust Grand Moff Tarkin  completely.  I  believe he serves
his own needs first, and the Empire's second. He  needs  to  be watched very
carefully. The  Overbridge  can  be overridden by using the special controls
built into  my  throne.  Unfortunately,  the  throne  has  special defensive
features that prohibit anyone other then myself from sitting  on  it. I have
had my engineers build in an override to these defenses so that  you can use
the throne to take control of the Death Star if Moff Tarkin  should step out
of line. To override the defenses, you need  a  special  crystal  orb that I
have empowered using the Force. This is top secret knowledge.  If the Rebels
were to find out about it, they could take  control  of  the  Death Star and
turn it against the Empire. So, this can go no farther then  the  two of us.
To ensure that it stays a secret I have had all the engineers that worked on
the throne killed.                                                          
   Now  on  to  other  things.  I  have......The  rest  of  the  message  is
unimportant personal stuff. You still cannot believe your luck. If you could
get that orb, you could turn the Death  Star  against  Rebel sympathizers on
Alderaan. Once that bastion of Rebels are taken care  of,  the Emperor would
be most grateful. You think that he might even give you command  of a sector
or an Imperial class star destroyer.                       
	

Walkthrough

First complete the Find Fragments mini to get all pieces of the Orb except for the spike, which is carried by Darth Vader.

Note: It is strongly recommended that you complete the Find Fragments mini first, so you do not kill Vader for nothing in case you are unable to locate all the fragments later.

Get to Level 9 of the Death Star. You will have to kill a Royal Guard at the entrance to be able to go south. Once he is dead, go south, press button, and south again. In this short corridor there is a Dark Trooper blocking your way. Kill him, then go west.

Next, <approach sphere> and Darth Vader appears, but does not attack:

As you approach the sphere it suddenly comes to life.
Different parts of the sphere start moving in different
directions, leaving an opening through which you can see
Darth Vader. As soon as the sphere has come to a halt he
calmly gets out of his chair, and starts to talk.....

Darth Vader says: I have been waiting for you... 
Darth Vader looks at you.	
	

To get the spike you have to fight Vader and get him below 100 hp. He will get help from other imperials along the way, so it will be a hard, long fight...

Once you have shown him you are worthy, he will drop the spike and leave. Then, get spike, insert spike to complete the mini.
