Death Star - Red (iw)

Walkthrough

You should start by getting the red armour from one of the Imperial Royal Guards on Level 9 of the Death Star since it's by far the hardest part of doing this mini.

This walkthrough assumes you already know how to get the white set so you can use the lifts on the Death Star, if not, look at the A New Hope mission guide for further instructions. You will also need the hook.

From the Death Star bays, go n, press button, n, ne, nw, n, e, <lift 5>, press button, e, se, 2n, swing hook, 2n, 2u. You're now in the lift room on level 7, you'll need a couple of things from this level to gain access to level 9.

Next, go 2w, s, sw, s, e and kill the bodyguard. After he's dead, go e and kill Tarkin. He will drop a code card; get card. From here, go 2w, s, se, s, w, sw, press button, s and exa note. This will be the password needed to access the turbolift to level 9.

Now head n, ne, 2e, n, e, type the password you just read and you'll be transported to the turbolift connecting levels 7 and 9. Go up and out, and you'll find one of the guards. You might have to kill more than one guard before you get the red armour, and be careful!

When you have the red armour, the rest of the mini is a cakewalk. Get back to the lift room on level 7 (the one connecting to level 5), go 2w and wield the hook. You need to kill the mouse droid in this room, and you can't have high WC while doing it or you'll end up obliterating it and destroying the item that you need - but if you use the hook as a weapon and don't use beams, it should work.

When the mouse droid is dead, pick up the arm and go s, sw, 2s, se, s, w, press button, w. You will be in a meeting room, kill Yularen in this room and pick up the crystal. Then go back to the lift room; press button, 2e, n, nw, 2n, 2ne, e, and <lift 3>.

From the level 3 lift room, go e, se, press button, sw, 3w, and kill one of the cook droids. A power support will fall from its body, pick it up. Then go 3e, press button, ne, e, ne, n, e, n and you'll be in the shop. Buy chemical to buy a chemical with red label. Then backtrack to the lift room; s, w, s, sw, w, nw, w and <lift 5>.

Now press button, e, se, ne, insert arm and <turn> until a secret door reveals itself and you can go se. You'll be in a laboratory with an armour technician.

Technician says with a smile: Greetings!
The tech asks: How is your day?
Technician grins at you.
Technician says: It doesn't interest me anyway, but my day is boring.
The tech asks: Would it be possible for you to bring me something beautiful?
The tech says: Like the red armour?

Give armour to technician, then give him the other items in the order that he asks for them (support, chemical, crystal). With that done he will complete the work on an enhanced red armour and you will have gained 5 mp. Congratulations!

The tech inserts the crystal into the press and it fuses the
crystal into the chest of the armour.
Technician drops the armour.
The tech cheers you on.
Technician says: You are worthy of this armour! Have fun!
Technician whispers: Nearly forgot, you also gained some experience.
