Storyline
It is possible to deflood a flooded base.
Hints
Q: This will not work. Why?
A: Most probably because you have a negative alignment. Go kill evil monsters until you have a positive alignment.
Walkthrough
Kill James Carl for the SCAR system.
Right from ending the 'flood base' mini: kill monsters until you have a positive alignment.
Monsters to turn your negative alignment positive can be found on the
battlefield, though the beetles will also do so (and are easy kills).
From the room where you unplugged the cable (make sure you have the SCAR
system, otherwise you can't go into the water): d, ne, ne, turn switch, press button, sw, sw, u, plug cable.
